23.05.2008: The Director General, Administrative Training Institute, Lucknow , visited SIRD on 23.05.2008 and interacted with the Director and the Faculty Members on the training related matters in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.

27.08.2008: On the instructions of the Principal Secretary to Government, RD & PR Department, the following officers visited SIRD on 27.08.2008, for a spot inspection to recommend various developmental activities including construction of new buildings, repairs and maintenance of the Training and Hostel complexes in the SIRD Campus. The Committee was headed by the Commissioner of RD & PR.
